Creative director of Givenchy Claire Waight Keller has confirmed that Ariana Grande will be a face of the autumn/winter 2019 campaign, unveiled in July. The superstar, as well as the French luxury fashion house, published this information on an Instagram a couple of days ago.

What a piece of information! Do we have any Ariana Grande fans here? Luxury brands certainly see the importance of collaborating with influencers and celebrities. Seems like the era of new technologies and social media creates some new opportunities and/or challenges even for the biggest fashion houses. Some time ago we saw Harry Styles posing for Gucci campaign with cute animals. Now, Ariana’s time has come. We are already curious about how the campaign is going to look like.

We are excited and Ariana states that she is “proud to be the new face of Givenchy.” In her statement, she also said “It is a house I have forever admired and to now be part of that family is such an honour. I love this clothing and the confidence and joy it brings to the people wearing it. Not only is the clothing timeless and beautiful but I’m proud to work with a brand that makes people feel celebrated for who they are, and unapologetic about whatever they want to be.” Givenchy is also happy to have Ariana Grande as “a modern muse and the voice of a generation”, adding, “she naturally embodies the spirit of the Givenchy woman with impertinence, generosity, and a lightning wit – all cloaked in a touch of mystery”.

These days, Instagram is definitely a great source of information. The fashion house has published a short teaser there before the new face was announced. It shows Ariana’s signature top-tier ponytail what immediately was a great hint for all of us. The about 5 seconds video shows Ariana wearing dress reminiscent of an archive design favoured by Hepburn and a pearl headband. Hubert de Givenchy, the founder of Givenchy fashion house, was many times responsible for Audrey Hepburn’s looks. Is Ariana Grande going to be a new Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany’s?

For now, twenty-five years old singer is turning her hit single into a beauty line named “Ariana Grande Thank U, Next.” Ariana’s beauty products include fragrances, body lotions, bath gels, and body scrubs and many other cosmetics. The pop star singer’s career is rapidly growing in different fields. Music, beauty, fashion… What will be next? Do you support Ariana Grande and her projects?
